Something that not many people think as an art form because today form and function are supposed to go hand in hand.

Well, I've been into Bali-Songs (butterfly knives) lately due to their simple, elegant design, and the artistic flair they innately radiate when being twirled.

So, here is a company that really makes form and function mesh wonderfully into keen, beautiful knives that are razor sharp and stunning to behold.

Well now that I've actually attended a full con (and I actually started studying animal anatomy), I realized that my fursona is a bit to simple in color design...
I tried to keep him simple when I first created him back in High School, but seeing as he's supposed to be a grey wolf and grey wolves aren't just one color (like Tucker), I'm going to be adding some variations here and there to make him a bit more complex and unique.  

I really am hesitant about doing this because I feel like someone's fursona is very much a part of the person as, say their arms and legs, so it feels weird to change something thats so established... but I guess like attitudes and opinions shift as we grow up, so I guess making Tucker a bit more realistic isnt that bad right?

*is conflicted*

Oh well.  Its mostly in my head right now since I cant draw him very well yet.  Someday I'll come up with a character sheet.

Lets talk about this company just a quick sec.

I have mixed feelings about Apple.  One one hand, I LOVE iPods and iTunes, I think they are the best things ever for music listening/organizing.
On the other hand, the Mac books and such are like Gods in the Art world, and it makes me frustrated because their displays are all FUBAR when it comes to displaying pictures. I understand that Macs advertise themselves as being "Professional" and therefore everyone who owns one thinks that its the PCs who are wrong. So it gets irritating when I post a picture on the internet, and knowing that everyone on a Mac with default settings will see it darker and super saturated.

I am a PC person just because I grew up with it and can work much faster on them. I see the positives and negatives with both Mac and PC, however Apple seems to be very pretentious when it comes to their products.  Like the new iPhone 4... its the same thing as the last one with minor updates and a more square design which is less durable than the iPhone 3, AND they advertise it by saying "This changes everything. Again."


I just wish that Steve Jobs and Bill Gates would get together and come up with a standard screen color profile so that they can be more compatable. I understand that people will have to change the color profiles when printing images because there are SO many different printing methods and color profiles, but I think that operating systems should be able to co-operate a bit more so they at least look the same on different screens since so much artwork is digital now.

I know they can do this. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were actually friends in school, and still are. They dont debate their systems nearly as much as we do on the internet, they are just business men who made their own companies and make lots of money now.
